What file formats do you accept for laser cutting? + -
We primarily accept DXF files, as this format ensures accurate dimensions for laser cutting. If you have a different file type (e.g., SVG, AI, DWG), contact us and we’ll advise the best way to convert or prepare it. If you do not have a DXF file, we can create one for you for a £50 design fee.
How does the instant quote and nesting system work? + -
Simply upload or drag-and-drop your DXF file into our online tool. The system automatically nests your parts to minimise material waste, calculates the cutting and material cost, and provides an instant price. You can then order and pay online.
Is there a minimum order value? + -
Yes. Our minimum order value is £50 (before VAT and shipping). You can order a single part or multiple items, pricing will be clearly shown once your DXF is uploaded and processed.
What materials and thicknesses do you cut? + -
We cut mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium in a variety of thicknesses. If you require a material, finish, or thickness not listed in the quote tool, contact us and we’ll do our best to source it for you.
What is your turnaround time? + -
Our standard turnaround is 3 working days from approval/payment to dispatch. Larger or bespoke orders may take longer, but we’ll always confirm lead times. Express options may be available on request.
Can you help create or fix my DXF file? + -
Yes. If you don’t have a DXF or your file needs adjusting, we offer a DXF creation and design service for £50. This ensures your part is correctly prepared for laser cutting and avoids production delays.
